Bar Code scanning, Digital photos, Bluetooth printing and Wireless communications. 

 The latest version of the TicketOr parking management system, using the Casio IT500 handhelds, allows Parking Officers to scan parking meter bar-codes, take digital photos and print to blue-tooth printers.  All assisting in the fast printing of tickets with proof of infringement.  

After the Parking Officer enters the registration number, it is automatically checked by the software for a match in the Local Authority’s Vehicles Of Interest (VOI) list.  Additional checks are incorporated into the user friendly handheld software to ensure only valid tickets are printed.  Chalktime and notes are easily customised to suit the user.  The rugged handheld is proving to be extremely reliable in all weather. 

Back in the office, infringement notices along with digital photos are downloaded simply and quickly to the management software using wireless technology.   Photos, diagrams and notes are all electronically attached to the tickets, no longer do Parking Officers spend time renaming digital photos or sorting out notes and filing.   

Infringement tickets can be printed with either a bar-code to allow payment at NZ Post Shops or to suit local authorities’ cashiers  to enable scanning prior to receipting.
