ADR purchases Napier Scada company

Arthur D. Riley & Co Ltd purchased small Napier company SCADA Electric on February 1, 2019.

SCADA Electric provides SCADA & Telemetry services to Councils and Lines companies on the East Coast and Hawkes Bay regions.

They work closely with Abbey Systems, installing and maintaining their equipment. SCADA Electric staff now join the ADR Control Business Unit, which comprises Control Systems in Hamilton and Abbey Systems in Wellington.

In addition to building and supplying Abbey RTUs and software ADR Control now also represents a number of ADRs Agency products. These include:

• Eaton Automation Solutions; SMP SCADA Gateways & IED Manager Suite used by Transpower and the Power Industry.
• Brodersen DNP3 RTUs. New to New Zealand but now well established in Australia.
• Wecon PLCs, HMIs and Industrial PCs. Competitive supplier of quality products out of China.
